Say Yes to the Dress

This Could not be a More perfect day.!

For starters, today was my bestfriend Stephanie's 21st birthday. Although I did not get to see her or hang out with her today I am excited for her, and it makes me 10x more excited for when I turn 21. :)

Now in my last blog I was so worried about Turk I am not sure if I mentioned that my grandma (Mam) is here, and my Aunt Terry & Uncle John.  It is so good to see them considering it is really hard for me to make it to Michigan to go see them.!
 
When I went to the Bridal Extravaganza January 8th, I made an appointment at David's Bridal to try on wedding gowns. Now when I made this appointment I really only made it because I knew my grandmother was going to be here from Michigan and I really would like for her to be able to be a part of my wedding as much as possible, I really thought, "Yeah I'll try on some dresses get some Ideas, and take some pictures with Mam" but when you know.. you know.!!

So this morning I woke up to Turk licking my face, which is amazing-- by the way he is doing much much better, he was able to come home for three days, and he goes back to the doctor on Saturday.-- I had a bowl of my Special K Chocolate Delights Cereal. Great start to my morning.
We all got ready to go to David's Bridal to go try on wedding dresses. (Me, My Mom, My Future Mother in Law, Mam, and Aunt Terry all went.)  I kind of got us lost but only for a couple of minutes.
Once we got there and the doors were opened, I signed in, and met with my Consultant Shian, she was really nice, a little too talkative but really nice. I told her what I thought I was looking for and doggy eared some pictures out of a magazine, and she went right on to grabbing the first couple of dresses that I was going to be trying on.

While in the fitting room, my mother and I decided we were going to try on the "ugliest dress first" ... I put it on, I step out of the room.. oops.! We love it.! hahaha, I'm not kidding one bit, we both thought it was ugly, and it turned out to be in my top 3 favorite dresses.
The trying on continued, and we took lots of pictures, which I will not be posting, because I do not want anyone to have a clue, until I say so :). We narrowed it down to four, and then three, and then two, and then we just realized I was glowing and so much happier in "THE ONE.!" Shian gave me a fake bouquet I walked down a fake aisle, and as David's Bridal tradition, when you "Say yes to the Dress" you ring their bell and make a wish. So I spun around made my wish grabbed that bell and we had a party. It is the one.! No need to look anymore, because I love it, and there is no need to second guess myself, because well.. i love it :) lOl.

I had such a fun day with everyone, I am so glad my Grandma and Aunt Terry were able to be there.  And it was nice that my mother and my future mother in law finally got to meet.! Yes, after five years it was their first time to meet.! But I think all went well, I had a good time, and I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did, it meant a lot for all of them to be able to be there.!

AND-- Last, but not Least, in my opinion the BEST news of all: My bestfriend since the 4th grade, Lacey Taylor Nowetner (Olive) took a test today and passed with flying colors.! That is right, she is going to be a mother.! I can not wait, her and her husband Casey have enjoyed almost 2 years of marriage, and they deserve this more than anyone I know, I could not be happier for them.!

On top of that I have lots of new babies coming into this world. Kyle's brother and his wife, Amanda are also going to be welcoming a new Gannon baby into this world in September. And I know a few more, but I am not sure if I am allowed to spill the beans yet.! :) So that is all

I am looking forward to having my wedding with a bunch of little babies to entertain my guests.! I can not wait.!
