The Planning Begins

THE HUNT:

If you could even call it a "Hunt," I never really have been the type to shop around, I mean really I found my prom dress at the first store I went to, I found my wedding dress at the first store I went to, and I found the love of my life at the Only High School I went to.! :) 

So when it came to Venue hunting.. I thought I would actually look around, but I guess I might as well stick to tradition hahahaha, but I honestly can say that I did TRY.!

I went through every single pamphlet that I had received when I had went to the Bridal Extravaganza and I looked at Most of the wedding venue websites, but there was just one that stood out soo much more to me than any of the others. I called around and made appointments at about four venues, BUT I only made it to one appointment. My mom and I went, and we showed up a whole Hour early. But the lady did not mind at all, she was ecstatic to help us and answer any questions, which we really did not have to ask very many she had already answered most.! 

The venue is called Amber Springs, it is in Montgomery and it is Perfect for Kyle and I.

Anyway: when it came down to talking about "THE DATE" me and Kyle... (and when I say me and Kyle I really do mean Me hahaha) wanted to keep the date the "27th" since our anniversary is 10-27 and there were two Saturdays within the next year that fell on the 27th and that was April or July, and since I will still be in School in April, I figured July would be better. And when Liz (the wedding coordinator at the venue) opened her book, Low and Behold the only date open in July was "MY DATE.!" lOl It was fate, and I wanted to Hunt No more.!! Of coarse we had to go home and talk to Kyle, daddy, and my future inlaws, but everyone seemed real supportive so we called Liz and made it OFFICIAL..

I will Officially become Mrs. Samantha Gannon on July 27th 2013.!  :)

NOW IF THAT IS NOT EXCITING ENOUGH... THERE'S MORE:

Kyle nor I have ever been on a cruise so we were talking about what we could do for our honeymoon, and I had mentioned it, honestly not thinking Kyle would go for it, because to be honest I thought he would be afraid of a cruise ship hahaha, but he seemed really excited. So I started looking on the internet and found out that a cruise is leaving from Galveston the day after our wedding. How PERFECT, it is a real honeymoon. 

So I contacted our Travel agent, Mrs. Renee Dunkin at Around about Travel, and she could not have been more excited about helping us out immediately, SERIOUSLY, i messaged her at 1:00 a.m. and she messaged me RIGHT BACK.! hahaha.

We set up a meeting with her, and she could not have been more helpful, it was so easy, so on July 28th we will be docking out of Galveston for our honeymoon on the Carnival Magic, we will be going to the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, and Cozumel. 

This will be our Beautiful Cruise Ship.! :)

Other than that, we still have a lot of time left to plan everything else, but it is already going by so fast, Kyle and I have already been engaged for almost eight months, and I feel like we just got engaged a month ago.

 I do plan on taking a lot of engagement pictures because Kyle hates pictures so it is a good way to get him to take some, so that I will have them for the rest of our lives hahahaha. A good friend of ours Kristen, has already taken some with us, she is in the process of editing them now, so I hope to see them soon. And then of coarse I will share them.! So I will still keep everyone posted on wedding planning and much more.!
