I have almost spent 6 Amazing years with Kyle... now do not misunderstand my "Amazing" as "Perfect," because we are FAR from perfect, but that is what makes our relationship so Amazing to me. We have gone through so much, and most definitely grown with each-other, and even taught each-other a thing or two...
Soooo...
Let the Wedding Festivities Begin.!
In January 2012, I attended the Bridal Extravaganza, and I had so much fun, but because it was so early and we were still looking for everythingggg, it was very overwhelming. My mom and I decided to go again this June, but we had a mission, since we had already set our venue our mission was to find a wedding photographer.
Well in January, one specific photographer made an impression that was hard to forget ... after being at the bridal extravaganza for 6 hours, and stopping by every booth in the entire place, at this specific booth, this gentleman was the ONLY person in the Entire place who asked me "How did you and your fiance meet?" The ONLY PERSON. (mind you, there are 1,000's of booths there)
Round Two in June, we walked around mostly to photographer booths. (I mean we did a cake test or two, and even some samples lol but mostly just photographers) and there were quite a few that were interesting, and there were also quite a few that were easy to eliminate. Once again, we had been there for quite a few hours, and we get to the same booth from January, and once again he is the ONLY person to ask me "How did you and your fiance meet." We stood there for a longggg time just talking about me and Kyle, he was truly interested in getting to know us, and I think that is awesome.!
We did not make any solid decisions because we had heard of so many photographer nightmares we really wanted to research and make sure we were making a good decision. I have talked to so many people who said they were trying to cut budget, or they had a family friend, or something like that, so they did not get an actual wedding photographer. And all of them say they regret it and if they could go back they would have hired somebody. We went home we sat on it, we looked a few people up and in-case you do not remember from my "wedding venue" I am not a big shop around kind of a girl, so I text the photographer and we set up a consultation appointment.
He lives in Katy, so we met him half way at a Starbucks in Houston, he brought a suitcase full of wedding books, and answered all our questions, and was completely personable. Considering I am kind of a shy person, that means so much to me that I was able to talk to him myself. I told my mom that I didn't want to look around anymore that there really was no point since he was already the photographer that has made the best impression, so that's who I wanted.!!
His name is Adam Copeland, and I have heard good and bad reviews, but you know what that is about anyone, and that is life. There are people out there who love me and there are people out there who hate me, so I made my decision and I am praying for the best for my special day.!! But I already know he is going to do AMAZING, I can just tell already.!!
I am excited and eager to see what is to come in these next 325 days.!!

WEDDING GARAGE SALE:
Yess, you read that correctly, "Wedding Garage Sale." At the wedding venue that I will be getting married at next year, they held a wedding garage sale, which is basically exactly as it sounds. Old brides come and set up tables full of stuff they used or even didn't use at their wedding. Center pieces, decorations, dresses, table linens, cake toppers, and so so so much more. We went and got some ideas, but we didn't buy a whole lot, there was this girl who was always one step a head of me, it was actually kind of frustrating. Every time I saw something I wanted she was already grabbing it and buying it. But we still had a fun time, and like I said we got some ideas. Plus I got to visit my wedding venue and I really enjoyed that.
MY WEDDING SAVER: AKA LAUREN. : )
Just a couple of days after the Wedding Garage Sale, I get a text message from my Best Friend, Lacey, she knew a girl who had just got married and was selling all of her wedding stuff, and she thought that I would be interested in it, so she gave the girl my number. In less than 5 minutes my phone was ringing, and on the other end the girl said, "Uhm Hi, I don't even know your name, but Lacey told me that you might be interested in buying some of my wedding stuff." It was so funny, because I had just sent her a friend request on facebook to see if I could find her post about the wedding stuff. I told her that I felt like a creep sending her a request when I didn't even know who she was.
She started sending me some pictures, and I was showing my mom them all, and I was thrilled, it was exactly my style it was everything I already pretty much had in my head how I wanted it. My mom loved it also, so I told her that I wanted EVERYTHING.! She was so shocked, it was amazing. She even took her post off facebook, because I was so interested in everything. We met up two days later, and loaded down my truck with all her wedding stuff, because I really bought it all.! It worked out for the both of us, she cleared out a room, and I have a bunch of wedding ideas now. I would post pictures, but I really don't want to ruin the surprise. But I want Lauren to know that I am sooooo Thankful, and of coarse to Lacey for setting the whole thing up. It was amazing.!! Lauren even told me that if there is a project that I need help with for the wedding, that she is more than welcome to help, considering most of the stuff she did her self.! So it is SO PERFECT.!!
BRIDESMAIDS:
I have officially asked all my bridesmaids to be in my wedding, and they all said yes, which is so exciting for me, because I have the bestest friends EVER.!
I bought them all Ring pops, and "Proposed" to them by saying:
"Kyle popped the Question,
and now it is my turn:
Will you be my Bridesmaid!"
and then they could wear their rings when they said yes (or eat them haha)

(No particular Order)
I can't post Kyle's GROOMSMEN yet, even though we know who they are, but he has not asked them yet, so I guess that will have to be added on Later. : )
Until then, I really would like to say that these 325 days could not come fast enough, I am so excited to finally become a Gannon, that words practically fail me, I never knew that I could love and care for someone as much as I do. I swear I would be lost without him.!
